The best way is to make your own sausages with a Connoisseurs Kit from Designasausage The seasonings are low in salt but very tasty. See link below

Newbie question regarding salt Empty Newbie question regarding salt

Post  flyfishingchef Wed Dec 28, 2011 3:03 pm

Hi there everyone, I've recently recovered from Cancer and the radio therapy has left my sense of taste somewhat buggered. I love sausages but the shop bought variety contain way too much salt which I can't take. As a fairly keen and competent home chef, I thought the only way forward is to make my own. Is it possible to adapt any recipe by simply reducing the salt but still getting a decent tasting banger? Or alternatively are there any specifically low sodium recipes out there? Thanks in anticipation Chris
